The Oral Storytelling Symposium’s intent is to explore oral storytelling as a primal, vital, cultural, historical, archival, narrative, scientific, individual, collective, ancient, and contemporary force at the center of our lives. The symposium is hosted in association with the Columbia Center for Oral History Research (https://www.ccohr.incite.columbia.edu) with additional guest speakers from the New York Times.
