About the Author:
Lady Tollemache started her gardening life when she first moved to Helmingham Hall in 1975.  She spent the next 20 years learning how to garden which ultimately prepared her for starting her own garden design company. While she admittedly has not taken a class in landscape architecture or even started a course in garden design, what she lacks in professional knowledge she gains a sense of a no boundaries approach to her garden designs.

About the Book:
A Garden Well Placed leads us down the garden path of the Helmingham Hall estate, through the walled gardens of the English countryside of Suffolk to the Chelsea Garden Show. This book chronicles her career as a garden designer where she works her magic on gardens large, small, formal and informal. Lady Tollemache has a flair for putting herself in the “place” of her gardens and landscapes which always results in sophisticated, multi-dimensional and considerate designs.
